Our recruitment process
We advertise opportunities on various websites and also from time to time in the press. Absoft seldom recruits through agencies and is happy to receive direct applications and enquiries at any time.
We review all applications and respond to all applicants in one of three ways

Offer you an interview, sometimes initially by phone

Advise that your application has been unsuccessful

Request to hold your cv on file for a period to see if a suitable opportunity occurs.
People can be sceptical when they are told their cv is being held for future consideration, but at least with Absoft, this is a genuine response as we frequently recruit from our database of cvs.
All our consultants are based in Aberdeen – so, before you apply, you should consider whether you would be happy to live in the north-east of Scotland. Aberdeenshire is a most pleasant corner of Scotland. It offers a very high quality of life and offers the choice of both city and rural lifestyles.
